People of the Beach
This series captures the quiet, curious, and sometimes ambiguous human dramas that unfold along the coast. The figures—solitary, paired, or clustered—appear adrift in liminal, sandy expanses or under broad skies.
Painted with textured impasto and sparing detail, they seem both grounded and ghostlike. The beach becomes a stage for introspection, ritual, and emotional distance. These are not portraits but evocations: human presence rendered as atmosphere, mood, and gesture.
