Artist, Designer & Printmaker

I am a Welsh artist currently based in Merseyside. My work spans painting, sculpture, and printmaking, often rooted in storytelling, memory, and cultural ritual. After working in various jobs, I entered art college in 1978 in Wrexham, later completing a BA at Cardiff School of Art and a postgraduate diploma in theatre design at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. I went on to work as an art director and designer in theatre, television, and film, and have taught art and design up to higher education level. Holding an MA in Fine Art, my work blends personal narrative with wider social and environmental concerns. My current series, I Do Like to Be Beside the Seaside, explores the collision between nostalgia, folklore, and ecological breakdown.
